Navigator and follow-van driver for Team Sea To See — the first blind / visually-impaired team to complete RAAM.

By 2018 I had immersed myself in the world of ultra-cycling and was ready for a new role — crew member for Team Sea To See, a visually-impaired team, as navigator and driver of the follow van at RAAM 2018. With the team's combined effort, Team Sea To See became the first visually-impaired team to complete the Race Across America.

About Team Sea To See. Team Sea To See is committed to proving that people who are blind can succeed in any field, and that demonstrating this capacity is critical to changing society's perceptions. The team of successful businesspeople and athletes who share blindness took on the world's most grueling endurance cycling race to show the immense capability of blind people — on and off the bike — and to raise awareness of the abysmal employment rates within the blind community.
