The first edition of the 6-12-24 hour National Virtual Time-Trial Championship was held on the 15th of Aug 2020. This event provided an opportunity for riders from India across the world to come on a single platform to show their prowess. The lockdown time due to the pandemic was difficult for everyone and indoor cycling on the smart interactive trainer was the only respite for the cyclists.
I had participated in the 12-hour segment of the time-trial championship. I attempted the indoor ride on ZWIFT (online cycling platform) integrated with a TacX Neo smart interactive cycling trainer. I covered 390.2 km in the duration and stood 3rd in the category.
